Fell Pony "Trot It and Fun Day"

Meadow Valley Fell Ponies and Fell Pony Society East Midlands Support Group recently held a "Trot It and Fun Day" at Gotham, South Nottinghamshire.

Michelle Inman wrote to Native Ponies Online to tell us that despite the cold weather the day was a great success. She also wanted to say a big thank you to Christine for organising the event, and to acknowledge the tremendous amount of hard work and effort which went into it. Michelle has also made an appeal for other pony owners to come along in the future, as she says it is a great way to meet people and meet the Fell Ponies they talk so much about.

"You don't need to have a Fell Pony to take part in the day, just bring your pony and come along and have a go, everyone is more than welcome" said Michelle.

The overall Fell champion was Wolds Lapwing ridden by Vicky Elliott, with reserve going to Hillhead Morgan ridden by Helen
