 To help them with their mission to promote the Dartmoor
Hill Pony as a breed The Dartmoor Pony Training Centre as recently
set up a sales list which will support the private sales throughout
the year of this wonderful type of pony. Dartmoor Ponies have
a very calm nature and make perfect riding, driving and therapy
ponies. Their sizes range from 10hh - a perfect size for a child's
first pony, to 13hh - perfect for a lightweight adult!
The group is also need of finances to help support the work they
do in taking on, training, and re-homing unsold Dartmoor Hill
Ponies each year. With this in ind they are holding a general
knowledge quiz on 29th April 2008 at the Bull Inn, Totnes. Teams
of four cost just £10 per and there will be a small prize
