'Hoofprints in Eden' by Sue Millard , published by Hayloft Books
captures the experiences of many long-established Fell pony breeders
and in doing reveals much about not only the customs and practices
of keeping ponies on the open fell but also about the hill farmers
and enthusiasts who worked tirelessly to save the breed from
possible extinction. This book is one that should not be missed
and rightly deserved this award!
